Ever since Jacoby Brissett took over at the helm in 2025, multiple under the radar Cardinals receivers endured breakout seasons.

The one that comes to mind right away is Michael Wilson, who eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his young career. Stepping into the No. 1 wide receiver role in the absence of Marvin Harrison Jr., Wilson helped the Cardinals’ passing game break out of its slumber.

A former third-round pick out of Stanford, Wilson looks to add on to his breakout campaign in what will be a contract-year for the 26-year-old. But it won’t come as easy as it did a year prior, with a healthy Harrison, as well as Trey McBride back in the mix after a career year of his own.

People also forget that the Cardinals brought in Kendrick Bourne on a two-year, $10 million contract to further bolster the young group. A veteran presence, Bourne spent 2025 with the San Francisco 49ers, the team that took a chance on him back in 2017. In 16 games, Bourne hauled in 37 catches for 551 yards, but was unable to find the endzone.

He will have a golden opportunity to do so in Arizona.

With a quarterback who is takes a ton of risks under center, Bourne will have the opportunity to prove that he belongs on an NFL roster for the long run. With all the attention being drawn to McBride, Harrison, and Wilson, Bourne has a chance to serve as a security blanket for Brissett in 2026.
