The dead period is almost over in the NFL, as teams are finally nearing the day when they report to training camp. The Arizona Cardinals officially hit their practice facility in Tempe on July 22.

2025 won’t by any means be the most exciting of years, but there are still plenty of reasons to be focused on the team. Even during the boring phases of the season and the lack of a competitive future, there are still aspects of the roster that are worth paying attention to.

For example, we get to see Jeremiyah Love for the first time, the Cardinals' first-round pick who was selected at No. 3 overall. The highest a running back has been drafted since Saquon Barkley in 2018.

Fans will also have the opportunity to view practices in person, as the Cardinals announced that seven of them would be open to the public.

“The Red & White practice is the Cardinals' culmination of training camp and gets as close to a scrimmage as possible. Fans can enjoy various amenities and activities featuring a QB toss, 40-yard dash, and mini-field goal kick.” — Team Representative via the AZ Republic

The days open to the public are July 24, July 26, July 28, July 29, July 31st, August 3rd, and August 9th. Nearly all of them run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Even during the toughest of stretches, Cardinals fans always show out. They have the opportunity to do that seven times in the months of July and August. Football is almost back, and we can’t wait.
