Kyler Murray is out at quarterback No. 1 in Arizona, which has been nearly guaranteed for the past three months. The question remains, however, where will the 28-year-old be traded to before March 15?
A few teams come to mind for Murray’s destination, including the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. All three have the potential to be in the market for a new signal caller, and they are definitely teams that Arizona should be connected to when searching for the right trade partner.
There is uncertainty around J.J. McCarthy being the Vikings starter in 2026, and it seems likely that Tua Tagovailoa won’t be in Miami much longer. However, the betting odds don’t favor either of these teams. In fact, they have shifted to the team that holds the No. 2 overall pick in the draft.

Kalshi Odds Favor New York Jets To Land Kyler Murray
What makes this so nice for the Jets is the fact that they won’t have to trade any top picks due to the salary Murray is on. A $52 million cap hit in 2026 will deter nearly anyone, and that means that the Jets would actually gain more assets instead of shelling out.
New York saw Justin Fields flop in 2025, and the other QB play they saw didn’t impress anyone either.
The ball is moving more than ever between the Cardinals, Murray, and potential suitors. For starters, Arizona and Murray’s camp have not been in touch.
It will be very interesting to not only find out when this deal happens, but what the trade package will look like.
As it stands, the Jets seem to be the frontrunners for the disgruntled dual-threat quarterback.
