2.) Carolina Panthers
New Panthers' head coach Dave Canales will be tasked with building up the confidence for second-year quarterback, Bryce Young. Part of getting a young quarterback comfortable is to surround him with reliable weapons in the offense. Canales has done a great job in Seattle to bring Geno Smith back to relevancy, as well as working with Buccaneers’ quarterback Baker Mayfield last season. The receiving core for Carolina will need a vast improvement for Young going into 2024. The Panthers’ receiving core led by Adam Thielen had a combined 13 receiving touchdowns, which is very underwhelming.
Even though Young has demonstrated that he can compete, his confidence needs improvement. If the Panthers were to pursue Brown in free agency, this would be the kind of team that Brown could be paid above his value. Carolina is in a mess and they will more than likely have to overpay, but atleast it would be at a position that is so valuable in the league.
