The Arizona Cardinals made a flurry of moves this offseason to better their roster ahead of Mike LaFleuer’s first season as the head coach. After all, the team is coming off of a dismal three-win season, which saw them place last in the NFC West and lock up a top-three draft selection.
Once again projected to be a bottom feeder in the uber competitive NFC West, almost everything needs to go right for LaFleur and his squad if they want any chance of being somewhat competitive.
That’s where this flurry of moves comes in handy. The first one was signing Tyler Allgeier from the Atlanta Falcons to a two-year deal to help bolster the ground game. Allgeier, who spent most of his time in Atlanta sitting behind the other-worldly Bijan Robinson, served as an excellent goal-line back
The team also selected Jeremiyah Love out of Notre Dame with the No. 3 overall pick that they earned, further improving the depth at running back and helping build around the aging James Conner, who is coming off an injury.

However, the most underrated signing came on the offensive line, where general manager Monti Ossenfort chose to sign former Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers guard Isaac Seumalo to a three-year deal.
With the Cardinals looking to build a prolific ground game, having the tools on the offensive line is imperative for that to be successful.
Monti Ossenfort has made plenty of solid moves this offseason, and now it's a matter of waiting for Week 1 to hit in order to see if those moves really paid off.
