First of, the Cardinals will not be going after Williams.  He will cost too much.  That doesn’t mean the Cardinals shouldn’t at least call and ask what his price may be?  It at least puts the bug in his ear the Cardinals have some interest.

The former number one pick of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, Williams has played the last four seasons with the Bills.  He had a subpar 2015 season though.  He had just five sacks for the Bills and 19 tackles.  Now, five sacks would have looked great compared to the Cardinals ends.

However Williams had 14.5, 13, and 10.5 sacks the three previous seasons respectively.   The one concern would be age.  He just turned 31 at the end of January.  Williams will have other suitors as well.  He is scheduled to meet with the Miami Dolphins this week.
