4. Jaron Brown touchdown reception on opening drive

There was hope.  Coming off two straight road games to start the season.  They were two weeks removed from losing Johnson for the season at running back.

The Cardinals opened their home part of the schedule with a Monday Night Football scrum with the Dallas Cowboys.  Coming home with a split on the road in their first two games was huge no matter how they accomplished it.

To back that up, the Cardinals needed to get off to a good start against the Cowboys on national television.  They did just that.

Palmer took the team down the field 82-yards for a touchdown on their opening drive.  Maybe this was going to be a special night?

Well as it turns out it wasn’t but it sure was a nice 25-yard touchdown reception for receiver Jaron Brown.  It was 7-0 Cardinals quickly.  However the Cardinals wouldn’t score again until the third quarter en route to a 28-17 loss.
