Chandler Jones

Here is Jones once again doing great things for the Cardinals.  He was another guy who found himself awfully busy against the 49ers.

Jones ended up with six tackles on the day.  Two of his tackles were for losses, including a sack, although he did get credit for two quarterback hits.

It was his forced fumble, sack, and fumble recovery running off the edge against 49ers tackle Joe Staley all in one action that was the most impressive of the day.  Staley did have some success against Jones at times but in the end Jones was too much.

Jones also made a huge play in the fourth quarter on a 49ers two-point conversion.  He knocked down quarterback C.J. Beathard’s pass attempt to keep the Cardinals in the lead at 14-12 at the time.

Last year’s NFL sack leader with 17 now has four on the season.  While that total would put him on pace to finish under that in 2018, he seems to be as active as ever and wouldn’t be surprised to see him pick it up and surpass his 2017 numbers.
