6. Charles Clay

Clay has had his moments in the sun as a tight end in the NFL.  He was on the verge of being a star with the Miami Dolphins.  He spent the last four seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

Maybe just as much as the receiver position, the tight end position needed attention this offseason.  It was clear that Jermaine Gresham‘s days were numbered in Arizona.

That meant the Cardinals needed to go find a tight end.  They found Clay, who was drafted in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

His 2018 season production was nowhere near what Clay had done in his first three seasons with the Bills.  He had just 21 receptions in 13 games last year for 184-yards.  He did not score a touchdown.

His best season came in 2013 with the Dolphins.  He had 69 receptions for 759-yards and six receiving touchdowns that season.  He also had one rushing touchdown in 2013.
