#98 J.J. Arrington

Arrington played all four of his NFL seasons with the Cardinals.  He was a member of the team from 2005-2008.

His time in Arizona however was well spent.  A 5’9 running back, he did have a little bulk to him at a listed 212 lbs.

His most productive seasons in the desert were his first season in 2005 and his last in 2008.  What made him productive was not only was he a commodity at running back, he was versatile as a receiver as well.

The Cardinals have done a good job over the years making more out of their backs than just rushers.  It has been part of the success they’ve enjoyed with their backs.

In 2005, Arrington rushed 112 times for 370-yards and two touchdowns. However he also contributed 25 receptions for 139-yards.

In his last season with the team in 2008, Arrington only carried the ball 31 times, however he gained 187-yards.  That was a six-yards-per-carry effort.  He also contributed 29 receptions that season, just as he did the year before as well in 2007.
