#69 Billy Stacy

Stacy played all of his five professional football seasons with the Cardinals organization from 1959-1963. He had an incredible 20 interceptions during his tenure with the organization.

He returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns in the 1961 season.  That same ’61 season he was selected to his only Pro Bowl.

Stacy also had two touchdowns via returned fumble.  He returned one for a touchdown in 1960 and ’61.

He had two punt return touchdowns in 1959 in Chicago with the Cardinals prior to the team’s move to St. Louis. He lead the league in punt return yards in ’59.

He also contributed a little bit of offense in that ’61 season.  He caught 12 passes for 241-yards, a 20.1-yard average and added a touchdown receiving as well.

His best season defensively came in his second to last in 1962.  He had six interceptions that season, returning one of them 53-yards.
