Houston Texans. 12. team. 10. . 0-1.

What an ending to the Houston Texans game at the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.  They lost a tough one 30-28.  They had a large lead of 14-3 and 21-10.

However Drew Brees and the Saints happened. After a Deshaun Watson 37-yard touchdown pass to receiver Kenny Stills with just 37-seconds remaining to tie the game at 27, kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed the extra point.

Due to a roughing the kicker call though, he got a second chance and nailed it, going up 28-27.  But they left Brees too much time with one timeout in his pocket.  They ended up losing on a 58-yard field goal.

Now they have to re-group and go home to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.  That is a good way to try to erase the memory of Monday night quickly.

The Texans receivers looked very good on Monday night. Deondre Hopkins caught 8 passes for 111-yards and 2 touchdowns.  Will Fuller caught 2 passes for 69-yards, including a long of 54-yards.
