49. . 1-0. . Green Bay Packers. 11. team

Not exactly how the Green Bay Packers drew up how they expected their opener to go for sure.  However they did just enough on both sides of the ball to get the job done against the Chicago Bears, defeating them 10-3 in the NFL Kickoff opener on Thursday night.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers found tight end Jimmy Graham for an 8-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for the only touchdown score of the night.  Turns out it was all the Green Bay defense needed to do their job.

A huge late game end zone interception by cornerback Adrian Amos of Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky ended the Bears hope of winning this one.  So a tough fought game goes to the Packers, who now get to go home for five of their next six games.

Week 2 has the Packers hosting the Minnesota Vikings.  It will be a huge game as both teams won in week 1.  The winner will be all alone in first place of the NFC North after week 2.
