Close to clicking on offense

Yes, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has thrown a lot of passes.  We knew that was going to be the case coming into the season.

Having to play from behind has had a little to do with that as well.  Last week Cardinals running back David Johnson ran the ball just 7 times.  A number of fans unfairly put that on DJ’s hands.

The Cardinals are likely always going to have a greater pass to run ratio but maybe being able to control the Panthers scoring and maintaining longer drives can help get the run game going.  Last week Tampa running back Peyton Barber rushed for 82-yards against them.

The play calling will get better.  Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury has taken responsibility for wrong plays being called at times.  He will get it right and is almost there.  The touchdown drive they had in the second half last week proved that.

These field goals will turn into touchdowns and it could start this week.  We’ll see how this Carolina team handles the road.
