Christian Kirk

He had the type of game many Cardinals fans have been expecting from him a lot this season.  Unfortunately with an injury suffered in week 4, he was derailed for three games.

He came back against the San Francisco 49ers but Sunday in Tampa was his day.  He caught 6 passes for 138-yards and 3 touchdowns.  The 3 scores were the first of the season for him.

Kirk had a successful 2-point conversion earlier in the season but before Sunday that was the only time he had found a score in the end zone. His 6 receptions though have now given him 40 on the season.

Last season in his rookie campaign, Kirk had 43 receptions.  He missed the final 4 games of 2018.  If he can stay healthy the last 6 games of 2019, he should well surpass his rookie season totals.

It is becoming more and more apparent Kirk is going to be this team’s new number one receiver after Larry Fitzgerald retires.  Kirk is the deep threat this team has been waiting for.
