One of the bigger needs on the Cardinals offense aside from quarterback and running back was interior offensive line, as the unit in place for 2025 could not seem to keep Kyler Murray nor Jacoby Brissett up right.
Anchored by Paris Johnson Jr. on the outside, he was the only positive on a line that needed improvement over the offseason.
After a low start, and many big names going off the board early, fans began to get nervous that this underrated opening on offense was going to go untouched. That until general manager Monti Ossenfort made a splash that landed the team a former Super Bowl Champion.

For those asking, the Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo, who had never played professionally outside of the state of Pennsylvania.
Seumalo wrapped up three seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, in which he earned his first ever Pro Bowl selection. That stint followed up his first seven seasons in the league with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he won a Super Bowl in 2017.
Seumalo will be taking his first NFL reps ever outside of the Keystone State, and he will be doing it on a three-year, $31.5 million contract.
The Cardinals offensive line now consists of Paris Johnson Jr., Matt Pryor, Hjalte Froholdt, Kelvin Beachum, and Evan Brown.
To survive in the NFC West, you need to have a solid offensive line. The Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers have all established exceptional pass rushes, and now that the Cardinals have a quarterback who isn’t exactly the most mobile.
In our opinion, this is an A+ signing by Ossenfort and the front office. It addresses an area that absolutely needed to be fixed up.
