Offensive line has been quietly one of the biggest needs for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2026 offseason, and Monti Ossenfort has done a good job making sure that it didn’t go unnoticed over the course of free agency.
Ossenfort, who had a ton of other needs such as quarterback, running back, and defense to address, made one of his better signings in a late wave in free agency. The Cardinals signed a former Super Bowl Champion, Isaac Seumalo, to a three-year deal worth $31.5 million.
Spending time with both the Philadelphia Eagles, with whom he won Super Bowl LII, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Seumalo provides that veteran presence that new head coach Mike LaFleur desperately wants.
However, despite signing Seumalo and Tyler Allgeier, more moves need to be made to shore up what is a young but growing unit.
According to Donnie Druin of Sports Illustrated, the Cardinals aren’t only going to address the position once, but twice.

Obviously, Arizona holds the No. 3 overall selection in April. With that, they are projected to go with Francis Mauigoa out of Miami. Surprisingly enough, that won’t be the only time the Cardinals select offensive line in the once-a-year event.
According to Druin, Arizona is projected to draft Georgia Tech guard Keylan Rutledge to pair up with Seumalo on the other interior spot of the line.
To be completely honest, this is not a bad pick at all, as Rutledge brings that experience to what is an up-and-coming unit.
He spent his upperclassmen years at Georgia Tech shortly after transferring from Middle Tennessee State.Â
This would not be a bad pick at all by Ossenfort, as the Cardinals need as much depth as they can get.
