The Arizona Cardinals have made a fair amount of additions on the offensive side of the ball, addressing multiple needs and filling holes that will only better the unit heading into the second phase of the offseason.
With the NFL Draft set to take place in late April, general manager Monti Ossenfort and his front office have established a solid roster on the offensive side of the ball. With that under his belt, he now has a clear idea of what needs to happen in the draft to make the roster even better.
The Cardinals signed former Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier to a two-year, $12.5 million contract. On top of that, they brought in Gardner Minshew to provide some quarterback competition in training camp.
However, one of Ossenfort’s gems happened to be later in the free agency period, as he brought in a former Super Bowl Champion lineman to bolster the interior of a unit that desperately needed improvement.

The Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo to a three-year, $31.5 million contract, and experts around the league thought highly of the addition. Arizona received an A grade from ESPN.
“The Cardinals signed a win-rate star at a value price. Seumalo recorded pass block win rate and run block win rates in the 98th and 95th percentiles at his position, respectively, last season as a Steeler. And it was not a unique year. In 2024, he was in the 89th percentile and 90th percentile in the two metrics, and was in the top quartile in 2023, too.” — Seth Walder
Cardinals fans should be happy that the Arizona front office went the extra mile to improve the unit ahead of the NFL Draft, where they hold the No. 3 overall pick.
Props to Ossenfort and his team.
