Despite free agency being almost completely behind us, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any big-name players still available on the market.

Arizona has been blessed by filling up the needs on offense with Tyler Allgeier and Isaac Seumalo, as well as Gardner Minshew in the quarterback room.

The Cardinals are officially set to welcome in a new No. 1 quarterback with Kyler Murray in the rearview mirror, and it seems likely that it will either be Jacoby Brissett or Gardner Minshew.

However, the former Cardinals signal caller remains present in Arizona media, as the 28-year-old Murray is looking to recruit one of his former teammates over to Minnesota with him. One who is responsible for being on the receiving end of one of the most well-known plays in Arizona football history.

The one on the receiving end of the “Hail Murray,” DeAndre Hopkins, blew the NFL world's minds when he caught a Hail Mary pass against the Buffalo Bills to steal a win in 2020. Now, it seems as if Hopkins wants to run it back, as the 33-year-old hinted at trying to join Murray in the Midwest.

"Kyler, that's my boy. Kyler's like family. I talked to Kyler throughout the year last year, I talked to Kyler after his situation in Arizona. Kyler's like family. I will always embrace that journey with him. He's on a one-year deal if I'm not mistaken? Whatever I can do for someone like that.” — DeAndre Hopkins

If this happens, good for Murray; he will have three capable receivers in Hopkins, Justin Jefferson, and Jordan Addison. But it is safe to say that things have gotten interesting for the Vikings, who look to rebound from a down season in 2025.
