“Best Of” – Part 3
The Cardinals have had many memorable plays in regular season games since they’ve moved to Arizona, many for better and many more for worse unfortunately. Today I am focusing on the positive. The best plays since the Cardinals moved to Arizona. This again is just my opinon. This also encompasses the regular season. That being said, that only eliminates two games. Those games being in the 1998 playoffs against Dallas and Minnesota. Play #5: December 28, 2003 – WR Nate Poole’s 28 yard TD catch from QB Josh McCown at the end of the fourth quarter against the Minnesota Vikings. [...]
“Best Of” – Part 2
So you’ve just spent the day at training camp in Flagstaff with the Cardinals and now you have the chore of finding a place to grab some good grub. Maybe you are preparing for a long day of practices and you need a big meal to get you through the day? Whatever the time of day, Flagstaff has something to offer fans at any time of the day. Thus, the part two of “Best Of” week continues. Today’s topic: Best Places to Eat in Flagstaff 5. Horsemen Lodge ( 8500 Highway 89 North, 3 miles north of the Flagstaff Mall ) – [...]
“Best Of” Week, Part 1
To pass the time until the start of training camp, I thought it would be interesting to do a series of different subjects and get your take. I am starting this week with a series of “Best Of’s”. Today’s topic – Best seat in University of Phoenix Stadium. Now there are a few qualifications to this opinion. First, I have had to have sat in these seats in order to qualify for “best of”. Secondly, this is just an opinion, my opinion. I am neither right nor wrong. It’s just my take. That being said, the five best places to [...]

This week – “Best Of” moments Week of June 29th – “Worst Of” moments Week of July 6th – A look at your Arizona Cardinals offense. Covering a different position each day. Week of July 13th – A look at your Arizona Cardinals defense. Week of July 20th – A recap of the 2007 [...]
Leaving So Soon?
You know how the old saying goes, “all good things must come to an end.” Well, that quote rings no more in truth than it does today for Arizona Cardinals head trainer John Omohundro, a.k.a. “Omo”. Sources say that Omo is going to be retiring soon. According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, as printed on azcentral.com, it is unclear whether Omo will stay on for 2008 or be retiring in full prior to the 2008 season. Omo has been the head trainer for the Cardinals for the past 36 years and with the organization for the past 41 [...]

Boldin Thinking Extended Vacation
Maybe it really is the movies? Maybe its the idea of going and hanging out with Michael Strahan or Brett Favre? Maybe it’s just the possibility that Arizona Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin feels like the ugly stepchild or maybe feels like Jerry Maguire did when his whole world came crashing down on him, the one he loved so much but then got betrayed by in short order. Whatever the reason for coming out today and saying he may not make it to training camp in July, one thing is for sure – Boldin is an unhappy dude. As I’ve stated before, ‘Quan [...]
Maybe They Were off Watching Kung-Fu Panda?
The Arizona Cardinals completed their pre-training camp practices today in Tempe. Many good things I think came out of the past couple of weeks. QB Matt Leinart is apparently running the two minute drill more efficiently. No one got seriously injured. That’s two for two right there. The two people I don’t get though are DT Darnell Dockett and WR Anquan Boldin. Those two are still crying over no new contracts. I get they want to get paid like their colleagues. If someone had a beef more than the other, I’d say it was ‘Quan. At least he stayed out of trouble [...]
