So the Super Bowl odds came out today. Cardinals have the longest of shots at 50-1. Sounds like I’m about to go put $20 on the Cards to win it all. That’ll show em.
By reading the national columns and stories around the country today, one thing is for certain, that there is no expectation of the Cardinals win even one game much less the Super Bowl. I can’t say that I’m surprised, especially given the Cardinals play against Minnesota and New England in December. However, they also seem to be written off as a team that beat up on a [...]

Cardinals Getting No Love
The Road to the Super Bowl
A look at the NFC Playoffs and the teams chances of getting all the way to the Superbowl on February 1st in Tampa.
New York Giants (#1 seed):
The G-Men are solid from top to bottom. Sure they lost three games in the final month, but really this team was not playing at 100% or what they started the season with. Running Back Brandon Jacobs sat out a couple of games. Receiver Plaxico Burress shot himself and probably lost a shot at ever playing for the Giants or anyone else for that matter again. The Giants have been at or near the [...]
The Arizona Cardinals finished the regular season on Sunday with a 34-21 victory against the Seattle Seahawks to finish 9-7. They will face the Atlanta Falcons at 2:30pm on Saturday at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Today was about balance, limiting mistakes (although they had their share today), and finishing with momentum. What we saw today that has been missing the past couple of weeks:
A running attack. Welcome back Edge. Edgerrin James had his first 100 yard game since opening day in San Francisco. Sure, it came against Seattle, but they couldn’t run against an empty field in front of them all [...]
28-21 Cards 4th Quarter
Gotta love the Cardinals, making it interesting. Penalties and poor tackling once again. Same old story. Can the Cards hang on will be the big question.
Less than one full quarter to go to finish off the regular season, then its off to the land of playoff and mock draft talk!
Go Cards!
The Atlanta Falcons will come calling next week at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale after they defeated the St. Louis Rams today and the Carolina Panthers defeated the New Orleans Saints to win the NFC South.
First thing first. Let’s finish off the regular season strong. It’s been a fight, but the Cards currently lead 21-14 in the third quarter over the Seattle Seahawks.
Oh and the Cowboys are getting CREAMED!!! YEAH!! 41-3 Philly in the 3rd.
Go Cards!

As the Arizona Cardinals head into their regular season finale today at home against the 4-11 Seattle Seahawks, they already know which seed they are locked into. Going into this weekend though, there are still a few possibilities for the Cardinals wild card round opponent.
A look at the suspects:
Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons are the most likely opponent. All they need to do is win and they will finish no worse than the 5th seed as the wild card. Combined with a Carolina loss, they win their division and gain the number 2 seed. The Falcons pose problems for the [...]
As we head into the final weekend of the NFL regular season I just wanted to take time out to wish each of you a Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah! Thank you everyone for taking the time out of your day to read all the postings from the season.
Please be safe, be happy, and enjoy your holiday season. Playoffs start next week!!

Boldin Likely to Play on Sunday
Amazing how the injured heal quicker when your team is in the midst of an end of the season swoon.
Anquan Boldin, who we were told would most likely sit the last two games in order to rest his injury up for the playoffs, is now a likely candidate to take the field on Sunday in the regular season finale against Seattle.
I suspect losing 47-7 to New England and Warner throwing for 30 yards had a little something to do with that. Also, the Cards need some kind, any kind, of momentum heading into the playoffs. The running game is now [...]
NFC West Breakdown: Week 16
(Scott Allen writes for Raising Zona, which is FSB’s Arizona Cardinals blog. Representing the rest of the NFC West are 12th Man Rising, Niner Noise. and Ramblin’ Fan.)
If you didn’t know any better, you’d think that Seattle was the team continuing their winning ways and heading to the NFC playoffs again. After this weeks games, it can now arguably be said that Seattle might be the best team in the NFC West, records notwithstanding. Arizona continued their late season slide, St. Louis squandered another one away to the 49ers, and Seattle finally found a way to pull one out at [...]
When this game appeared on the schedule when it came out this past April, this was the one game I marked as an “automatic” loss for the Cardinals. In fact, I had so much confidence in the Cardinals ability to not only not win on the road, but in New England of all places, I predicted a score of 75-2. Of course that was before Tom Brady went down and Kurt Warner was named starter and on his way to a possible MVP season.
However, as I look what lies ahead tomorrow for both teams, New England is the team that [...]
