May Ends Same as it Began, Still in Lockout Mode
The Arizona Cardinals are no closer to the playing field. Players and owners aren’t meeting and the longer this NFL lockout drags, it appears more and more likely the 2011 season is in major jeopardy. I would have thought the players might show an inkling of buckling on some of the issues, but apparently they are quite content with letting this drag out going into June.
Lockout End May Depend on Players Giving In
You hate to see it if you are on the players side as I am, however in order to see an end to this NFL lockout, I’m afraid the players may eventually have to give a number of concessions to the owners.
Look For the Cardinals to Run the Ball More This Year
Certainly most of the off-season talk about the Arizona Cardinals has centered on the team’s need for a new quarterback, and there’s no question than an upgrade at quarterback will be required for the Cardinals to make it back into the playoffs this coming year.
Please Take Time For Thoughts and Prayers For Joplin, MO
First Tuscaloosa, AL. Now Joplin MO. The small town of Joplin, MO was devastated earlier today by an F5 tornado. Almost 75% of the town was leveled. I just wanted to take this time out to keep the people there in your thoughts and prayers. Please also continue to pray for those in Alabama affected by the tornado that ripped through there just under one month ago. Let’s also not forget those in the other areas of Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Georgia, and North Carolina that have been hit recently as well. If you can or would like to [...]
I just read over on Arizonasports.com that Sporting News thinks Carson Palmer is worth a first rounder in a trade. I about fell out of my seat. Apparently Sporting News is either in the back pocket of Palmer or they just don’t know what they are talking about. I sure hope the Arizona Cardinals don’t waste a first rounder on him.
Catching Up With Arizona Cardinals Twitterers
The world of the NFL and the Arizona Cardinals have been pretty quiet this week, however those Cards on Twitter are as active as ever. They have to do something to pass the time, right? I assume they all survived The Rapture as the rest of us did. Here is a small sampling of what Cards players have tweeted this week.
Arizona Cardinals Roster A to Z: Larry Fitzgerald
As we wait for the NFL labor situation to be resolved, this is a continuation of a series on current Arizona Cardinals players and my thoughts on the past performance all the way to whether I think they will be on the roster in 2011. I go from A and go to Z. Next up: Receiver Larry Fitzgerald
Arizona Cardinals Roster A to Z: Jay Feely
As we wait for the NFL labor situation to be resolved, this is a continuation of a series on current Arizona Cardinals players and my thoughts on the past performance all the way to whether I think they will be on the roster in 2011. I go from A and go to Z. Next up: Kicker Jay Feely
We all know by now that at 6pm tomorrow local time, The Rapture will have happened or it won’t have. However, if it does happen, there are a few things I won’t miss if the Arizona Cardinals happen to be amongst those saved and fly away to heaven.
The 8th Circuit Court Renders its Decision
A permanent stay of execu…uh um, I mean NFL Lockout. That was the 2-1 decision by the 8th Circuit Court today, saying the NFL would ultimately suffer harm if the lockout was lifted. I beg to differ but I’m no judge. I’m just jury. Unfortunately in this case there doesn’t get to be one of those.
