Cardinals Get Ready to Usher Out 2010 Season
Sunday’s matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49′ers was supposed to be the game that would decide the NFC West. Instead, it is the other matchup, the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, that will decide it all. Oh how far off were those predictions?

The NFL Workplace Standards Do Not Apply to All
When Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was handed his $50,000 fine for “not cooperating” with the NFL in the Jenn Sterger scandal, it really wasn’t a surprise based on how the NFL has been run by the commissioner Roger Goodell. The NFL clearly botched things up this season when it came to controversies, scandals, and hot button issues.
Whisenhunt Could Be Wrong Guy to Lead Cards
By Jeremy Roemmich, raisingzona.com contributor The Arizona Cardinals are 31-31 under head coach Ken Whisenhunt after losing to the Carolina Panthers in week 15, who came into the game with the NFL’s worst record. Yet those 31 wins make Whisenhunt the most victorious coach for the franchise since moving to Phoenix in 1988, and place him second to Don Coryell who posted a 42-27 record with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1973 through 1977. Considering that his four seasons the Cardinals have accounted for two division titles, and the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance, a coaching change looks all the [...]
Adrian Wilson Named to the Pro Bowl
So I guess you don’t have to be an all-pro in order to make the NFL Pro Bowl. Then again, the Pro Bowl just as it is in other sports is just a popularity contest for the most part. That’s what happens when you let fans vote.
Twelve Cardinals-Cowboys Plays of Christmas
The Arizona Cardinals 27-26 win on Christmas night over the Dallas Cowboys was made possible by some great plays made by them and not so great plays by the Cowboys. I can quickly point to twelve plays though that shaped the outcome of the game.
Cardinals Defeat Cowboys in Wild Finish 27-26
Had it in the bag, no problem. Of course after jumping out to an early 14-0 lead, the Arizona Cardinals must have felt that way against the Dallas Cowboys Saturday night. Of course, it came down to the final play. Always seems games like this for the Cards do, as they won on a Jay Feely field goal with five seconds left.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
I just wanted to take this quick opportunity to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Thank you for your continued readership and support of this blog and all that is the Arizona Cardinals. Even though we are out of it, please enjoy the Cardinals – Dallas Cowboys game this evening. It is an honor to be chosen to play a game in front of a national television audience on this special holiday. Even though both teams have struggled all season, it is, after all, still NFL Football. Thanks again and enjoy the day! Be safe in your travels [...]
Cards Look to Close Out Home Schedule
The Arizona Cardinals face the Dallas Cowboys at home on Saturday evening at University of Phoenix Stadium. It will be the final home game of the season for the Cards, who are 3-4 at home this season.
After their 2008 playoff Super Bowl run, the Arizona Cardinals were a hot national television item. They found themselves on NBC Sunday Night Football three times during the regular season in addition to an ESPN Monday Night Football game. This season they were on Monday Night Football once and will be on the NFL Network this Saturday, Christmas day. Enjoy it while it lasts.
